In the afternoon, we went over to our friends (Parker and McKenzie) house and played in the sand! Grace had a ball chasing Parker around with a bug net!

Fun Monday
Today was a fun day! Lily had some fun exploring Daddy's electronics and Grace's baby doll while Grace was napping! Grace then woke up and Lily crawled right to her for some snuggies (which Grace LOVED)!!!

Uncle Mike and Aunt Mary came to visit!!!
Uncle Mike and Aunt Mary stopped for a visit today! It was such a beautiful day and we enjoyed spending time with them! Daddy put a "Beer in the Rear Chicken" on the grill and we sat outside and enjoyed our time together. Boo and Bug were SOOO excited to see them!
After eating, we enjoyed some storytime and playtime in the house! Uncle Mike made Grace's day by reading her favorite stories..."The Cat and the Hat" and "Cars."
Aunt Mary, Uncle Mike, Grace and Lily then decided to play on the floor in the livingroom. (Lily decided to sit on her toys! LOL)
A great time was had by all! So much so that Grace and Lily were both asleep at 6 pm!!!! WOW!!! YAY!!!

Lily has had a difficult time settling into sleep that last few nights but I think we have finally found the ticket! For the first 5 months of her life, Lily and Mommy co-slept. After trying many different techniques to get her to settle down, Mommy laid down in bed with Lily. Here are the results:
Thankfully, shortly after falling asleep we are able to pick her up and move her into her crib! She is SOOO adorable and peaceful when she is sleeping though!

What a Great Weekend
We spent the weekend in Peoria with Grandpa, Grandma, Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa! We had such a fantastic weekend! Grace and Lily Bug just loved spending time with everyone! Grace and Great-Grandma found a love they share...puzzles! I don't know how many times they put the puzzle together!

Grace was very excited Sunday afternoon because she knew Uncle Steven and Tiffany were coming over with Hayden, Andi and baby Baylea! She COULDN'T wait to hold her new baby cousin!
Thanks Dad, Ronda, Grandma and Grandpa for such a WONDERFUL weekend! We can't wait to do it again!

Yesterday Lily Bug was practicing standing up all by herself. She will stand there and wait for someone to notice! Once we all start cheering, she gets excited, starts bouncing and falls on her bottom! Boo just gets soooo excited! Everytime Bug sees Boo excited, she just gets soooo excited! I can't wait for the day when Bug will walk to Boo as she holds out her hands! Right now I am content to watch Bug stand up by herself then start clapping and Boo cheering her on!
Father/Daughter Dance & Boo's Preschool Promotion
The last few weeks have been very busy for Boo! Daddy was her date to the father/daughter dance. Boo looked like a Princess! She was the belle of the ball! While there, Daddy and Boo got to do crafts, dance and spend some quality one-on-one time together! They had so much fun!
Last Friday was Boo's last day of 3yr old Preschool. She had such a wonderful year and learned so much! Much to our surprise, she is now writing; Mom, Dad, Grace, Lily, Nana, Papa, Tete and Grandma all on her own! It is amazing to watch her learn and grow! The preschool that she attended put on a little Preschool Promotion for all the kids. It was adorable to watch her go up on stage and sing "Me and God" then recieve her certificate! Mommy even made her a special Hello Kitty cake to celebrate!
